Ambassador programme launches to provide CFRE certification advice
February 6, 2019Czech NGOs focus on relationship building to address declining public trust
February 6, 2019Italian fundraisers association ASSIF has launched a suite of services aimed at providing greater support to its members, including an email helpline for campaign related questions.
The launch is part of ASSIF’s strategic plan for growth over the next three years, and sees, for the first time, fundraisers able to ask an expert for advice through its new ‘Fundraiser calls, Expert Responds!’ free service. This lets ASSIF members ask questions via an online form on topics such as the technical and methodological aspects of fundraising, fundraising tools, social communication, and training and work in fundraising.
Another service, Fundraiser on Air, will also see a sharing of experience, through a monthly livestream of a fundraiser with a story to share, such as the difficulties encountered during their career, and how it has been possible to achieve certain results in particular fundraising sectors. Sessions will last 45 minutes, with up to 100 places available for members to listen in and participate. Following the livestream, an audio recording of the session will be available for members to access on the site.
A third new service, FundraisingHow, is an evolving series of cards available on the site and detailing the main characteristics and procedures of specific activities that fundraisers could find themselves involved in as part of their role. These include an Art Bonus card, with guidance on how to access this funding for cultural causes, and help with organising a lottery. The cards will be regularly added to and updated.
Finally ASSIF has also made available on its site an archive of materials such as videos, slides, and cards as a resource for members.
