EFA's Skillshare

Skillshare is EFA's long-standing annual event for the European fundraising community. In recent years, Skillshare has travelled to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bratislava, Brussels, Czech Republic, Dublin, Krakow, Paris, Rome, Oslo and Vienna. Focusing on current fundraising issues and challenges for fundraisers and fundraising associations, this event is a unique opportunity for fundraising associations to come together for an exciting programme of exchange, learning and networking.

The 15th Annual EFA Skillshare takes place in Zürich on 26-27 September 2024. All fundraisers and others working in the civil society sector are welcome to join! More details to follow. 2023's programme can be found here.

Webinar: What’s going on in Brussels?

An exclusive webinar for members of national fundraising associations and the other bodies within EFA's network, this hour-long session is designed to bring you up to speed with key regulatory issues at EU level for fundraisers. Hosted by Simona Biancu (EFA Board - Chair of Public Affairs Committee), Dr. Sergey Lagodinsky (MEP), The Greens, and Yvette Kleekamp, Advisor Public Affairs at Goede Doelen Nederland and EFA Delegate, the October event will provide an overview of recent updates to the European space for civil society organisations. In particular it will focus on the European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee proposal for “A statute for European cross-border associations and non-profit organisations” with the aim also to encourage EFA members and our members’ members to take an active part in the public consultation. Join us on Tuesday 25 October 2022 (10am-11am CET). Free to attend.

2022 Nonprofit Pulse webinar

The findings of the 2022 Nonprofit Pulse survey, conducted in collaboration with Salesforce.org, will be unveiled at a free webinar on 18 January, at 1pm CET. Join EFA and Salesforce to be the first to hear the survey’s key findings on the landscape for nonprofits across Europe during 2022 and for the year to come.

The new report covers the biggest challenges facing the sector, areas of focus for growth, the impact of the cost-of-living crisis and the war in Ukraine, and how digital continues to change fundraising. Attendees will benefit from pan-European insight that provides a valuable benchmark with which to compare your own charity’s experiences.
