Future focus for 23rd Austrian Fundraising Congress

The 23rd Austrian Fundraising Congress takes place in Vienna from 10-12 October. Themed The Power of Innovation – shaping the future of fundraising now, the event will address how to reach and motivate donors in the future, explore the direction in which fundraising will evolve, and look at the innovations that will take the lead and how they will affect the future.

At this year’s Congress, participants will be able to take advantage of a number of new features, including an Innovation-Lab and a Fundraising Clinic, as well as varied short presentations and workshops, and more than 60 speakers from six countries.

Peter Steinmayer, head of the Fundraising Congress Team, Austrian Fundraising Association, said:

“Only if we speak the language of our target group – the donors – will we be able to reach out to them and address them in the future. To do so, it will be essential to remain innovative. At this year’s Congress we will broaden our fundraising horizons, seeking trends in all relevant areas and preparing participants for a successful future in fundraising.”
