November 18, 2021This year’s European Fundraising Tour is now open for registration, offering a whistle-stop tour of the European fundraising landscape.
Building on the success of last year’s virtual tour, national fundraising experts will once again present their insights and inspiring campaigns in this fast-paced event, featuring a collection of short presentations from across the continent. This year’s European Fundraising Tour takes place on Thursday 02 December (10am-1pm CET).
Event highlights will include a presentation of new findings from the 2021 Pulse survey from EFA and Salesforce.org, exploring how the nonprofit sector has responded to the pandemic environment, and the implications on fundraising and service delivery.
Swedish major giving expert, Rebecka Winell of The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund, will encourage delegates to think big in a session on transformative giving, while Ashley Rowthorn of Legacy Futures will explore where next for gifts in Wills.
For those with a focus on digital and technology, Björn Lampe of gut.org in Germany, will present a session on raising €1 million in just 16 Hours through livestreaming. Meanwhile, Ricard Valls and Sergi Pallarés of Zohar Consulting/StockCrowd, will explore recent changes in online giving trends, sharing examples of some of the nation’s most successful and inspirational campaigns.
From a more philosophical and cross national perspective, Giampiero Giacomel of Cultural Philanthropy in Italy will explore whether public funds tend to displace or encourage private donations. And French fundraising specialist, Rebecca Allaigre will examine the importance of mission-centred fundraising.
