France générosités has joined EFA, saying that it is excited to work with fellow members to “strengthen the fundraising sector’s collective voice”.
EFA now has 24 members in a total of 19 countries. Any organisation can join that shares EFA’s objectives.
France générosités celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, having been set up in 1998 through collaboration from nonprofits including Fondation de France, Red Cross, Greenpeace, Caritas and the Institut Pasteur. It now has 136 members with a collective income in 2021 of €7.5bn.
Laurence Lepetit, CEO of France générosités, says:
“Our mission is to strengthen the enabling environment for philanthropy in France and beyond. As such, we are delighted to join EFA to help strengthen the fundraising sector’s collective voice, and ensure it can play a key role in solving the most important social and economic challenges of today.
“France générosités is particularly keen to support EFA’s public affairs group, in order to monitor relevant legislation and regulation, and to ensure that fundraising organisations have a stronger voice in debates around the economy and society. We also look forward to contributing to work on collecting data about giving across Europe, building on the success of our annual Baromètre de la générosités.”
Charlotte Rydh, EFA president, comments:
“We’re delighted to welcome Laurence and her colleagues at France générosités to EFA. Each member organisation brings something new, helping us to widen our reach and further our objective of strengthening and developing fundraising across Europe.”
