October 31, 2022Martin Georgi is to continue as chair of German fundraising association Deutscher Fundraising Verband (DFRV) for another three years, and will be joined on the board by a new deputy chair and assessor.

Kraak-Tichy is the managing director of emcra, which provides training and consulting in the field of EU funding. She said: “I see potential for civil society in Germany to think and work even more in European terms than before.”
Zeco has worked for various communications agencies and is currently a consultant at ZEIT Media. She commented: “A functioning civil society needs a strong culture of giving. I would like to use my fundraising expertise and media skills to do this on the board.”
The election took place during the German Fundraising Congress, which took place in Berlin on the 25-27 September.
