Private funding to grow amongst Finnish NGOs, research reveals

Swedish Fundraising Council FRII has appointed Charlotte Rydh as its new secretary general. Rydh will take over from current interim secretary general Johan Mast at the start of September 2016.
Mast had held the interim post since April this year, following previous secretary general Maria Ros Jernberg’s resignation to take on the role of deputy secretary general for the Swedish Tourist Association.
Most recently secretary general for AFS Intercultural Programs Sweden, Rydh has more than 20 years experience in the sector, with a background in major gifts fundraising.
Among her achievements, as campaign director she was responsible for the first fundraising campaign at a state university in Sweden: Umeå University. Rydh also created a fundraising and communications department for social service and hospital non-profit Ersta diakoni and has been a board member for CASE Europe, as well as for Sverige för UNHCR.
