March 21, 2018World-renowned Pakistani author and advocate of free speech, Fatima Bhutto, will headline Europe’s largest conference for fundraisers as a plenary speaker at this year’s Fundraising Convention in London.
Winner of the Prix de la Romanciere in 2014 and appointed a Young Global Leader for the World Economics Forum, Fatima’s plenary is set to empower and inspire delegates to develop their own leadership skills.
With a focus on leadership, creativity, innovation and diversity in the sector, the event’s fellow plenary speakers include BBC arts editor Will Gompertz together with campaigner and TV presenter, June Sarpong MBE.
Attracting over 2,000 delegates, the Institute of Fundraising’s annual convention takes place on 2-4 July 2018, featuring a broad range of content designed for fundraisers at both an intermediate or advanced stage of their career.
Any fundraiser who is a member of a national fundraising association is eligible to join the event at the membership discounted rate and can access the early bird discount, which ends 20 April 2018. (Contact events@institute-of-fundraising.org.uk for more details).
This news comes as the IoF launches its #IoFBrightIdeas campaign, encouraging people to share their bright ideas for fundraising, which will then be presented at the Fundraising Convention.
