With just over a month to go before registrations close for 2023’s EFA Skillshare, fundraisers are encouraged to sign up now to join peers from across Europe for the event.
This year’s Skillshare takes the theme “Elevate & Innovate: Empowering Fundraising in Europe”, and takes place in Prague on 21-22 September.
Led by EFA vice president and CFO of the Coalition for Easy Giving Jan Gregor, the event will provide a high-level platform for thought-provoking conversations. The programme has been carefully curated to provide participants with key tools and inspiration to help them elevate their fundraising.
What’s on the programme
It includes an exploration of Artificial intelligence’s transformative potential as well as a look at the ethics of its use. The event will also foster collaboration and understanding among European fundraisers with a deep dive into fundraising in the Czech Republic and CEE region. Another session on continuous professional development will empower fundraising leaders with vital skills to thrive in an evolving landscape.
There will also be an opportunity to engage in a stimulating panel discussion on public affairs, which will emphasize advocacy’s significance in shaping an enabling fundraising ecosystem.
The event will end with Charlotte Rydh, president of EFA and the Swedish Fundraising Association, who will share insights on the future of fundraising and our collective potential as fundraisers across Europe working together.
Speakers include: Deniz Hassan, digital director, Astarita Aldrich & Ward; Ian MacQuillin, director, Rogare; Alena Novotná, head of fundraising, Médecins Sans Frontières; and Jan Staněk, head of fundraising, Oblastní Charita Červený Kostelec.
