This year’s annual ASSIF Territorial Groups residential meeting saw 18 representatives from local groups attend to share experiences and define strategies and goals.
The meeting took place in Rome on 23-24 February, attended by representatives from across Italy. Participants discussed the strategies and goals of the Italian fundraising association’s local groups as well as how to create them where they do not yet exist. They also heard an in-depth analysis by ASSIF’s President on areas of the association’s strategic plan that are currently under development.
Other discussion points included the current hot topics affecting fundraising in Italy such as the 124/2017 Competition Law and the country’s reform of the third sector.
The ASSIF Territorial Groups were first created seven years ago. There are now 10 in total, including the Piedmont, Umbria, Lombardy, Sicily and Tuscan Territorial Groups.
