EFA certified qualifications achieved by over 4,200 fundraisers

More than 4,200 fundraisers across Europe have now completed an EFA Certified qualification, ranging from the Certificat Francaise du Fundraising in France to the Norwegian Certificate in Fundraising.

National fundraising qualifications are currently available in 11 European countries, enabling fundraisers to achieve internationally recognised standards.

EFA certification is a framework that enables fundraising associations to develop a qualification that reflects the national environment and legislative framework, while based on a common syllabus and set of fundraising competencies.

All EFA certified qualifications are developed in partnership between a national fundraising association and a university, business school or other educational establishment and must be submitted to EFA’s certification committee for approval.

Training programmes must be re-certified every three years to ensure they meet the relevant criteria, with the Norwegian and German courses re-certified in recent months.
