About us
EFA is a network of 24 member organisations from across Europe with the collective goal of working together to raise fundraising standards.
Our vision
Together we represent the European fundraising community with one voice, one collective body and one shared goal of facilitating better fundraising. EFA aims to strengthen and develop the fundraising profession across Europe.
Our mission
EFA’s mission is to develop fundraising across Europe by strengthening national fundraising associations and national fundraising organisations, and to promote fundraising, philanthropy and the work of not for profit organisations at the EU level. EFA serves as a platform and a collective voice for its members.
Who we are
EFA is governed by a volunteer Board. The organisation’s day-to-day operations are led by Executive Director Eduard Marček, with the Executive Officer, Denise Dawes, coordinating the delivery of EFA’s work programme.
Full membership of EFA is open to associations representing individual fundraisers and those for fundraising organisations. Observer status is available to representatives from nations where no fundraising association has yet been established.
Our member associations represent fundraising in each of the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and the UK.
