IFC returns for first outing since 2019

Resource Alliance’s International Fundraising Congress returns for its 40^th year in October, in its first outing since 2019. This year, Resource Alliance is taking a hybrid approach to IFC, with both in-person and digital options for attending.

With the theme ‘Shaping the Future Together’, the event will take place at Noordwijkerhout in the Netherlands from 18-21 October, with a series of sessions held ahead of the main conference programme.

Ruby Chadwick, Head of Global Engagement and Events at the Resource Alliance commented:

“More than two years into the global pandemic, we need to explore how a catastrophic, global event like this one changes how we approach fundraising. New challenges are facing us, but what are they and how can we prepare for them? Those are the questions our masterclasses will work to answer at IFC 2022.”

Just announced, these small group sessions will be led by thought leaders and sector experts and come in two categories: masterclasses and bootcamps. Masterclasses explore topics through a theoretical, visionary lens while bootcamps focus on practical techniques and best practice.

2022’s masterclass delegates will explore data-driven supporter engagement strategies, gaze into the future of leadership, dive into multi-generational philanthropy, discover how to build true corporate partnerships, and use design thinking to solve complex problems.

Bootcamp participants will look at their social impact as a strategic asset, learn to map effective supporter journeys, jump into organisational culture change, delve into multichannel fundraising in the context of Islamic philanthropy, and create engaging legacy donor journeys.
