EFA European Fundraising4Democracy Tour: Online Special
The EFA European Fundraising4Democracy Tour showcases how fundraising, crowdfunding and civic mobilisation can help defend democracy and strengthen civic space across Europe.
Through short case studies from different countries, fundraisers and civil society leaders share practical campaigns, tactics and lessons for mobilising supporters and resources. The next Online Special takes place on 29 September 2026, bringing together eight examples from across Europe.
EFA European Fundraising Forum
The EFA European Fundraising Forum is EFA’s annual European gathering for fundraisers and fundraising leaders, providing a space for peer learning, exchange of practice and strategic discussion on fundraising and philanthropy across Europe.
Formerly known as EFA Skillshare, the Forum brings together senior professionals from across the continent to explore emerging challenges, leadership choices and developments shaping the fundraising environment. The 2026 Forum takes place in Leuven, Belgium, on 19 November, in cooperation with Fundraisers Belgium.
EFA Learning Symposium
The EFA Learning Symposium brings together fundraising educators, association leaders, certification experts and senior practitioners to explore the future of fundraising learning, professional development and leadership.
The 2026 Symposium took place in Berlin on 31 May–1 June, hosted by Deutscher Fundraising Verband (DFRV). More than 30 participants from 17 countries explored the skills future fundraising leaders will need, the role of professional education in strengthening fundraising performance, recruitment and competency development, and how learning needs to evolve in a changing profession.
