In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Polish Fundraising Association (PSF), the association will launch Fundraising 2016 - a nationwide celebration of the fundraising industry.
The celebrations will include a Gala of Fundraising, the publication of a research report about fundraising in Poland, and awards for the best fundraising campaign and fundraiser. The year’s events will also include the International Fundraising Conference in Poland and a series of Fundraising Clubs.
The Fundraising Clubs are currently held in seven cities across the country and supported by PSF. Run by members (volunteer fundraisers and experts), the clubs share knowledge and experience, as well as tools and educational materials, such as the PSF’s Guide to Fundraising and specialist magazine.
Aleksandra Aleksandrowicz, Director of the Polish Fundraising Association, says: “The Clubs are an outreach of our work, ensuring that fundraisers across the regions have access to the expertise they need to guide them in their work. The work of the volunteers that run these Clubs is vital and we recognise one of those volunteers each year with an award for their contribution to the profession.”
